This Privacy Policy applies to information collected when you visit our website located at https://www.volantio.com/ (the “Website”), or purchase and/or use our services (“Services”).

By visiting our Website, purchasing, accessing or using our Services, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.

What Information We Collect / Receive; the Purpose of Collection & Use


We collect and/or receive the following categories of information. Customers who purchase our Services (“Customers”) authorize the collection, processing and transfer of such information, and assume contractual responsibility for providing notification to Customer’s customers who are end users of the Services and obtaining all consents as required under applicable laws and regulations.

Contact Information: When you contact us through the “Contact Us” page, request a demo of our services, sign up to receive our newsletter, or sign up to become a Customer, you will be asked to provide certain information which may include first name, last name, and e-mail address, (“Contact Information”). The Contact Information is used to provide the requested information, and to contact visitors and customers for purposes of direct marketing of our current and future products and services.

End User Information: End User means Customers customer who is the end user of our Services and may be contacted with offers and change travel plans through the delivery of Services. We collect End User Information from our Customers or directly from End Users. End User information includes but is not limited to, phone number, name, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, postal address, flight-related details, and travel preferences (“End User Information”). End User Information is used to provide the Services, provide support, and to operate, maintain and improve the Services.

Other Information: In addition to the Contact Information, and End User Information we may collect or receive the following information (“Other Information”):

- From Your Activity. In an ongoing effort to improve the Website, and the Services, we automatically collect certain information when visitors visit the Website and when Customers and End Users access the Services. This information consists of IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Website visitors visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Website and the Services.
- From Cookies. We also collect information by using “cookie” technology. Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device to “remember” information about your visit. We may use session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer/device until you delete them). Web Beacons. Pages of the Services or our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs. pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) that permit Volantio, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an e-mail and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

SMS Messages


Some of our Services may allow End Users to receive SMS messages from us. You may opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time by emailing us at privacy@volantio.com or by texting STOP in response to the text messages you receive. However, by opting-out of receiving text messages, you will no longer be able to use such Services.


Aggregate Data


In an ongoing effort to better understand our visitors, Customers, End Users, and our Services, we may analyze your information in aggregate form in order to operate, maintain, manage, and improve the Website, and the Services. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our products and services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

Sharing With Third Parties


Like many businesses, we contract with other companies to perform certain business-related services. We may disclose Information, including personal information in some cases, to certain types of third-party companies, but only to the extent needed to enable them to provide such services, including, without limitation, hosting provider, business management services provider, marketing assistance, and SMS messaging provider. Opt-Out of Marketing Emails


You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any Volantio marketing email or contacting us at privacy@volantio.com. Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to their account. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.


Business Transfers


In the event of a merger, dissolution, or similar corporate event or the sale of all or substantially all of our assets, we expect that the information that we have collected and/or received, including personal information, would be transferred to the surviving entity in a merger or to the acquiring entity. All such transfers shall be subject to our commitments with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of such personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.


Disclosures to Public Authorities

Children's Privacy


Our Website and Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 through the Website and Services. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on or through our Website and Services. If you are a parent or guardian or otherwise believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@volantio.com, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.


Your California Privacy Rights


Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to obtain certain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they have an established business relationship (and that are not otherwise exempt) have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year, including the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties. In addition, Volantio does not monitor, recognize or honor any opt-out or do not track mechanisms including general web browser, “Do Not Track” settings and/or signals.

We safeguard the security of your personal information with reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of such data, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
